Rocket Lab launches.

Rocket Lab is the leading small-launch operator. Electron (carbon-composite, electric-pump Rutherford engines) flies dedicated smallsat missions from Mahia, New Zealand and Wallops, Virginia. Neutron is the upcoming reusable medium-lift vehicle expected to debut from Wallops in 2026-2027. LaunchDetect tracks every Rocket Lab launch via NOAA GOES-19 (Wallops) or JMA Himawari-9 (Mahia).

Every Rocket Lab launch is independently confirmed by LaunchDetect from NOAA GOES or JMA Himawari geostationary thermal infrared imagery within 30 to 90 seconds of ignition. Independent of any operator press release or broadcast.
