LaunchDetect

Rooted in Hawaiʻi. Looking out for the world.

Make launches visible to everyone who shares the sky: the moment it happens, unclassified, in the tools they already use.

When something goes to space, the people responsible for what’s around it, and what’s below it, shouldn’t have to wait for a catalog entry to know. LaunchDetect delivers an independent, unclassified record of launches as they happen, straight into your existing workflow. We are rooted in Hawaiʻi and look out for the world, because a shared sky only works when everyone has the same clear picture.

Built for a shared view of launch activity

In 2025 the United States Space Force SDA TAP Lab (now the BMC3I TAP Lab) put a problem in front of its Apollo Accelerator: detect space launches autonomously from unclassified satellites. Over three cohorts LaunchDetect took that problem from an idea to an operating system.
